Glass Kajaks

Welcome to our glass kayak rental on the picturesque Wakulla River! Immerse yourself in a unique adventure where you can experience the fascinating underwater world up close. Our special glass kayaks allow you to observe the clear water surface directly beneath you, providing an unparalleled perspective on the rich wildlife of the Wakulla River.

Nestled in the lush nature of the Florida Panhandle, the Wakulla River is not only known for its crystal-clear water but also for the diverse wildlife that lives in and along its banks. Manatees, also known as sea cows, are within reach depending on the season, swimming beneath your glass kayaks. These gentle giants glide through the clear water, offering an unforgettable spectacle.

During your journey, you can also observe majestic turtles gliding leisurely through the water or basking on branches—an uncommon sight. But that's not all! The Wakulla River is also home to alligators, often sunning themselves on the banks. The glass bottoms of the kayaks provide you with the opportunity to see this fascinating underwater world directly beneath you without disturbing their natural habitat.

Our glass kayak rentals are suitable for adventurers of all experience levels. We provide life jackets, and the kayaks are easy to handle, offering a stable platform for your journey.

Book your glass kayak experience today and dive into a world where clear waters and fascinating animals promise an unforgettable adventure.

The 2-person glass kayaks are equipped with 2 paddles and 2 life jackets and offer enough space to carry a cooler bag with drinks. They are also suitable for small children aged 3 and over at their own risk. We bring the kayaks to the upper bridge of the Wakulla River where you can easily board. After about 2 to 3 hours (5.5 km) of driving on the river, we will pick you up at the lower bridge and drive you back to the upper bridge where you parked your car. Rowing could get you wet, so be sure to wear appropriate clothing depending on the weather. A hat, sunscreen and mosquito spray are also recommended.
